TRAINING CAMPS
Every dog and their family deserves a happy and healthy relationship. Yet, many people and dogs struggle to understand each other. Expectations and boundaries often break down, leading to frustration on both sides.
Our small-scale Training Camp options offer an immersion program for your dog where they will learn what is expected of them and how to be a positive member of your family. We do this by building a consistent and fair system of communication and balanced training methods with your dog and then teach you how to reinforce your dog's new skills.
All Camp participants live on our 45 acre property and will practice in a home setting as well as enjoy romps in our fully-fenced pastures. They will learn to be neutral to our resident goats, donkeys and cows, and will enjoy field trips to town, other parts of Colorado, and even out of state in some circumstances. Our camps are truly an educational retreat for your best friend.
**We do not train dogs with human or dog aggression**
Foundation Obedience Camp
A strong foundation is essential to success in any pursuit. This 21-day camp will give your dog the foundational skills to thrive in your home, on walks and at the park, and be a confident and happy dog. Your dog will learn:

Loose-leash walking

Down/ Down stay foundation

Bed stay (stay on an elevated dog bed)

Recall (come when called)

Waiting at doorways and other thresholds

Leave it
-
Waiting for food

Load into a kennel/crate/vehicle

Remote/electronic collar basics
-
Other impulse control skills as needed (greeting people politely, etc)

Introduction to off-leash reliability
$2,700 includes all training equipment (electronic collar (ecollar), place bed, prong or slip collar) and three follow up lessons (one offsite and two at our facility) plus a lifetime of support.
*Dogs must be 6 months of age or older
Advanced Obedience Camp
Looking for a greater level of obedience? This 30-day camp covers the same skills as our Foundation Obedience Camp, but gives us more time to practice and proof these skills under distractions along with more in-depth off leash training and more field trips to help generalize behaviors. Your dog will learn:

*Dogs must be six months of age or older
*Dogs age 6 months and older are conditioned and trained with a remote/electronic collar (ecollar) in conjunction with other methods such as engagement and reward-based training
